Netexplorateur Names hypios Among the 100 Most Promising Global Initiatives

Netexplorateur, an independent global observatory for information and analysis on advancement in the digital realm, has named hypios.com among the 100 most promising global firms.

Each year, Netexplorateur identifies 100 such initiatives to keep businesses and political decision-makers abreast of innovative uses of digital technology. Members of its Club include executives of companies like Airfrance, AXA, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Danone, L’Oréal, PPR, Saur and TOTAL.

The Netexplorateur 100 is chosen for developing new practices that shape the digital era — essentially behaving as frontiersmen in a volatile environment. For the 2010 list, hypios was included in the Business and Management section.

“hypios is very happy to be one of only 20 initiatives in the Management & Business section,” beamed President/Co-Founder Oussama Ammar. “This recognition shows that hypios’ potential to fundamentally transform the way companies solve their most challenging problems has been recognized.”

“The Netexplorateur 100 takes a pragmatic approach to the global digital revolution: using the power of example,” states the Netexplorateur website. Companies among the chosen are involved in the production of mobile applications, Web 2.0 sites, software or games; others use digital means to “break new ground in culture or education, think up new forms of solidarity or citizenship of transform management methods and business models.”

Netexplorateur is an independent global observatory for information and analysis on the issues in the ongoing digital revolution.

Netexplorateur’s ambition is to detect initiatives in terms of new uses of digital technology, and to spread knowledge and understanding of the related trends. Its two French founders, Martine Bidegain and Thierry Happe, share the conviction that a firm grasp of those practices can drive change in the way institutions, media and businesses work. Netexplorateur aims to give decision-makers exclusive information on new digital practices and the keys to understand the issues facing businesses in the digital era to enable them to prepare for the related threats and opportunities.
